I don't mean just worrying about how you point your toes and make sure you're gonna be able to keep your foot in a blade so that you're hitting your target with the blade of your foot. Or being able to pull your ankle uptight. I wanna talk about those of you out there that have your arches that drop. In this video, we're gonna talk a little bit about the anatomy of a foot and how important the arch is. And then we're gonna talk about even if you know that you have the arch problem, why you can't just go on YouTube and figure this out, why that's so complicated and you've probably been spinning your wheels for a very long time, trying to figure that out.

Then I'm gonna talk about all the other ways that breathing can affect your running. It's not just that you don't feel like you have air. Hi, I'm Dr. Molly with Your Goals Physical Therapy. If your family is anything close to how mine is, we love to spend Houston summers near a beach, or at least near a body of water. Swimming is great, but there's something about the beach, even though Galveston is definitely not an ideal beach. It is what we have. It's just so fun. You get to go play in the sand, build sand castles, look for shells, play on the waves, all these fun things. It's also fun because you can bring simple toys like balls and Frisbees and have hours of fun out in the open, as long as you're applying lots and lots of sunscreen and of course, lots and lots of water.
That's what I wanted to talk about in this video. What happens if you spend a really fun weekend playing with your kids, let's say with beach volleyball and all of a sudden you notice that your shoulder is very angry with you, and it's not just going away in one or two days. What do you do if you've injured your shoulder while playing beach volleyball, let's talk about that.

So let's talk about a few strategies that you can do right now. Let's say your trip is coming up this weekend and you just need to know what to do so that you're not laid up on the couch for two days or whatever afterwards, because your foot, your knee or your hip are just killing you. Then after that, I'm gonna talk to you a little bit about what you could do. If you have time to prepare for going to the beach and walking on the beach is important to you, and you wanna know how to make sure that you can continue to do that activity for years to come.
